With 2009 staring me in the face there is no choice than to stand up and make my Goals reality. Getting into the debt I have was easy; A purchase here, a trip to target there, a coffee with a friend, drinks a couple nights a week or a simple trip to the mall I thought brought me happiness.
I'm now tuning into the fact that getting things that I can't afford brought me nothing but wanting more and feeling less happy.
So this year is going to be focused on my feelings of wanting and what being satisfied in life mean to me. Both of these lie within me and my contentment is what I choose it to be. Right now I am content and am becoming energized by the snowflake game that one day will set me free from debt and the power savings game will officially begin.
Seize the day and the year and know that your contentment is within your own power.

Good luck. I hope you'll clear your debts this year and be happy :)
I've done the same thing before but now I'm paying the price (high price) of being stupid and clueless. Focus on your needs and stick to your goals, and you'll be fine. Good luck once again and I have my fingers crossed for you :)
